About the Collier County Bar Foundation
Founded in 1991, the Collier County Bar Foundation, Inc. was formed to provide a charitable vehicle for the Collier County Bar Association and its members. For years the Collier County Bar Foundation has provided scholarship assistance to outstanding high school students participating in Collier County’s annual Mock Trial competition. More recently, the Foundation has begun to broaden the scope of its charitable activities with the hope of having a significant impact on Collier County’s youth and underprivileged. The Foundation hosts several annual events that benefit a local charity. Recent recipients include Harry Chapin Food Bank, Children’s Home Society, the David Lawrence Center, Special Olympics, Voices for Kids, Boys & Girls Club and many others. The Foundation partners with Legal Aid Services of Collier County to provide gifts to underprivileged children during the holidays and with Friends of Foster Children to provide gifts to children in foster care and a trip to the Naples Zoo for the annual Holidays in March event. The Collier County Bar Foundation is also proud sponsor of a student in the Naples Chamber of Commerce’s annual Youth Leadership Collier program.
